Microscope features

The brand-new AM4115ZFT digital handheld microscope introduces a new generation 1.3 digital sensor with state-of-the-art design, extra long working distance, and 1X-70X continuous magnification. The new sensor provides better image quality and sharpness with less aberration and vignetting.

The AM4115TF features a 2nd generation housing with smoother focus rotation, magnification scroll lock, and a reinforced USB connection that resists twisting and pulling. The magnification lock is particularly useful for repeated inspection at a given level of magnification.

Standard features include 1.3 MP vibrant color resolution with Microtouch image capture for convenient snapshots. Simply press the end of the microscope to take a picture. The microscope also provides live video (30fps) and time-lapse video. Eight built-in LED lamps provide built-in illumination. The microscope is PC/Mac compatible with measurement software and comes with a 2-year warranty.

Optional stand

Note – at 10x to 20X, the working distance varies from 18″ to 10″. The MS35B and MSA2P are strongly recommended accessory stand combos. For your convenience, we have selected some of the more popular stands for this microscope. Simply choose one of the above-mentioned options offered as an add-on.

Software

Dino-Lite includes software for both PC (and DinoXcope for 2.0) and Mac (DinoXcope) computers. PC software is compatible with Windows 7 and Mac through OSX 10.5 and later. We have found the software to be robust and reliable with several great features such as: image capture, storage, and email, live and time-lapse video (up to 30fps), notes, geotagging, full-screen capability, automatic and manual exposure control, picture-in-picture zoom (magnifying glass), and much more. The measurement software is versatile and includes a calibration slide for accuracy.

Measurement capabilities include linear and geometric, as well as circular and point-to-line. Above all, the color resolution is excellent due to fixed white balance calibration set at the factory with a jeweler’s color balance. Finally, images can be saved in a wide range of common formats, including JPG and BMP among others.
