Description
82-1972-S-300 Length Measurement > Glass precision ruler with magnifier
The Peak Lupe 1972-S glass measuring rule is the optimal tool for quickly and easily determining lengths and distances that are larger than what can be seen within the field of view of a magnifier. The Peak Lupe 1972-S features a scale with 0.1 mm divisions on the clear glass ruler and is available in four lengths of 300 mm, 500 mm, 700 mm, and 1000 mm each. It is supplied with two achromatic, focusable 10x magnifiers for precise reading (see Peak Lupe 1983). The magnifiers on these measuring rules have a field of view of 20 mm. The acrylic mounts for the magnification have leaf springs integrated into the sides to prevent them from sliding. A side-lined case is included for the glass ruler and the two magnifiers.
When measuring lengths and distances, it is necessary to ensure that the scale is parallel to the object being measured to prevent measurement errors. A calibration certificate is not included as standard but is available upon request for an additional cost. Our supplier, who issues these calibration certificates, is certified according to EN ISO 17025 and EN ISO 9001: 2000.
- – Scale interval = 0.1 mm markings 0 .10 .20 … (mm)
- – Graduations and numbers on the glass rulers are of high resolution and wear-resistant. The etchings have a thickness of 0.020 mm
- – Accuracy of graduation ± (15 mm + 15 / 1.000 L) um (dimensions based on measurement at 20 ° C)
- – Thermal expansion coefficient: 9 x 10-6 / ° C
- – Refractive index = 1.5195
- – Material = float glass (selected)
- – Available in the following lengths (measuring range on double scale):
| 300 mm / 12 ”= total length | 360 mm (± 1 mm) |
| 500 mm / 20 ”= total length | 560 mm (± 1 mm) |
| 800 mm / 32 ”= total length | 780 mm (± 1 mm) |
| 1000 mm / 40 ”= total length | 1060 mm (± 1 mm) |
