Crack Loupe, RL-10, Magnification 10x

Our classic Crack Loupe: Robust and made entirely of metal with a distortion-free (aplanatic) lens. Unlike other loupes, this Crack Loupe features a stainless steel scale at the bottom at a 45° angle. It has an etched scale with a resolution of 0.1 mm. This measuring instrument can be focused using its height-adjustable lens system (sliding focus). The Crack Loupe is particularly suitable for inspecting the cutting edges of drill bits and end mills. Specifically for this type of application, the stainless steel scale is superior to a glass scale, which can easily be scratched. The angled layout provides good light inflow while preventing reflections, making the scale easy to read. The Crack Loupe is available with magnification factors of 6x, 8x, and 10x. This Crack Loupe is preferred by technicians in the construction industry for measuring the width of cracks in concrete. Naturally, the scales are available to order separately as spare parts.
