Description
82-1996 Magnifiers & Lenses > Lenses
The Peak Lupe 1996 is a simple microscopic magnifier with a magnification of 30x. A magnifier with a magnification factor greater than 20x is most easily produced by using a combination of a lens and an eyepiece placed at a specific distance, similar to a microscope. However, customers wanted a less bulky product that could be used with one hand. Additionally, the image is inverted. This gave rise to the requirement for a magnifying device that could be held in one hand, produce upright images, with optical performance being secondary. This magnifier is a product that meets all requirements regarding photomechanics and precision. Manufactured in Japan by Peak Lupe
