Description
Specwell M-830-KS Monocular with auxiliary near-focus lens and short acrylic base. Can be used either as a stand-mounted near-view microscope or as a long-distance loupes telescope. Popular for industrial applications in quality control and inspection.
When using this loupe as a telescope, objects can be viewed at a minimum working distance of 600 mm.
The near-focus lens and acrylic base can be easily screwed onto the monocular, resulting in an excellent loupe with a field of view of 8 mm and a magnification of 40x. A cutout in the clear base provides access to touch the object during inspection. The base can be removed for irregular objects. The image is not inverted. Both lens systems (eyepiece and objective lens) are achromatic and feature an anti-reflection coating.
The use of this loupe in combination with the near-focus lens is not limited to technical applications. Due to its high light sensitivity, true image, and magnification factor, it is also an excellent visual aid. Practical applications include use as a loupe, telescope, reading aid, or for straightforward quality control. A high-quality case with a neck strap is included.
Alternative model M-830-LS is the same loupe with a long acrylic base, offering lower magnification when used as a stand-mounted microscope.
